CHINESE LANGUAGE COURSE-CHI

  • The entire two-semester course aims at acquisition of the usual basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Presentation of basic grammar and an introduction to Chinese culture. Pinyin (the most-widely used Chinese phonetic system) will be taught as a tool to learn the spoken language
    CHI Programs: HSK1, HSK2 & HSK3

Course Details

  • HSK-1: Nǐ hǎo! 你好！HSK stands for Hànyǔ (Chinese) Shuǐpíng (level) Kǎoshì (test), which is the most important Chinese proficiency test in use today. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using Chinese in their daily, academic and professional lives.
  • HSK-2: Nǐ hǎo! 你好！This course is called “Chinese for HSK Level 2”, which is also the second step towards HSK Level 6. At the end of the 6 weeks, you will be able to express your views towards some simple and common daily life topics.
  • HSK-3: Nǐ hǎo! 你好！Chinese for HSK 3 aims at the third level of HSK. It is the counterpart of Level 3 of the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales for Speakers of Other Languages and the B1 Level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Duration

  • The duration of the Course is 3/4/6 months
  • Classes – 3 days a week; 1 hour per day.

Eligibility

  • Matric, O-Levels & above.
    Seats Available: We enrol a maximum of 20 students in one class, so hurry, limited seats available on the next course.
